HB1025 - Enterprise Zone Renewals

House Roll Call #: 83
This bill renews the authority of local governments to use certain financial incentives to businesses within particular geographic areas. These types of directed economic development activities are ineffective in aggregate within a community and throughout the state. They also violate the concept of equal protections of the law, and these types of laws intentionally treat some businesses differently than others.
